Celebrating the power of music
to bring Americans together.

Luc de Clapiers
Ear to The Common Ground is a new series on public television that weaves intimate performances from world-class artists with enlightening discussion. Here, everyone has a voice that is heard and a seat at the table.

THE GOAL: to break some bread and talk about issues face to face, eyeball to eyeball with just one rule: replace contempt and conflict with
compassion and empathy.

Each 1/2 hour episode features one artist, 8 of their fans, and one issue.

Fans of each episode’s artist are chosen to
represent the full spectrum of diversity in America:
political, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation,
religious, spiritual, geography, age and most
importantly, diversity of thought.
